As with any Project, the key is in the preperation. I always believe that the more prepared we are before we go into any production, the better the outcome for all involved. Whether that be for the Crew, Creatives, Cast, Musicians or most importantly, the paying public.
Part of my remit, is to make the event easier and smoother for you, the client. Let me help you to take the stress out of the event allowing you to focus on the things you need to.
I have varied experience of Lighting different types of productions.
From Musicals to Rock shows,
Orchestra's to Plays.
Regardless of the Genre, the goal is the same;
To light the show in order to immerse the audience in the atmosphere you're trying to create, and to enhance all the other elements of the production. Set, costumes, Props and of course the cast themselves
Regardless of the type of show, the important of the audio quality should always be a priority. In a musical, without the clarity of the voices, the audience cannot follow the show, and cant relax to enjoy the atmosphere created in the production.
Similarly, in a live music event, without a decent mix the songs that you lovingly play, wont click with the audience. If the drums dont punch through, the guitar solo doesnt kick in at the key moment, then the audience wont fully connect with the show and they will be left wondering what was missing rather than going away buzzing from a superb show.
